Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By using the services of Resec Disgu Media ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Resec Disgu Media provides professional clothing and shoe repair services, including but not limited to:

  • Shoe repair and restoration
  • Clothing repair and mending
  • Professional alterations and tailoring
  • Leather care and restoration
  • Related accessory repairs

3. Service Process and Estimates

3.1 Estimates

All repair estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days. Estimates are based on visual inspection and may be subject to change if additional issues are discovered during repair.

3.2 Authorization

Work will not commence without your written or verbal authorization. By authorizing work, you agree to pay the estimated amount plus any additional charges for unforeseen repairs that are communicated to and approved by you.

3.3 Completion Time

Completion times are estimates only. While we strive to meet projected timelines, delays may occur due to the complexity of repairs, availability of materials, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Due

Payment is due upon completion of services and before item pickup. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers.

4.2 Rush Services

Rush service fees apply for expedited repairs completed within 48-72 hours. Emergency service fees apply for same-day repairs when available.

4.3 Unclaimed Items

Items not claimed within 90 days of completion notification will be considered abandoned. Storage fees of $5 per day will apply after 90 days. Items unclaimed for 180 days may be disposed of at our discretion.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

5.1 Workmanship Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for 6 months from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in our repair work only and does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse or accidents
  • Pre-existing conditions not addressed in the original repair
  • Failure of non-repaired components

5.2 Material Warranty

Materials used in repairs are warranted against defects for 90 days. We will replace defective materials at no charge.

6. Limitations of Liability

6.1 Item Value

Our liability for loss or damage to your items is limited to the actual repair cost or the declared value of the item, whichever is less, unless you purchase additional insurance coverage.

6.2 High-Value Items

For items valued over $500, we recommend purchasing additional insurance coverage. Please declare the value of high-end items at the time of service.

6.3 Impossibility of Repair

Some repairs may not be possible due to the extent of damage, age of the item, or unavailability of materials. We will inform you if a repair cannot be completed.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information
  • Declaring the value of expensive items
  • Removing personal items from pockets, bags, or shoes
  • Informing us of any allergies or special requirements
  • Picking up items within 90 days of completion
  • Inspecting repaired items upon pickup

8. Cancellation and Refunds

8.1 Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before work begins at no charge. Once work has commenced, cancellation fees may apply based on work completed.

8.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are provided for unsatisfactory work that cannot be corrected. Refunds are limited to the amount paid for services and do not include consequential damages.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disputes, government actions, or supply chain disruptions.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Direct Communication

We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any concerns. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication.

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

11.3 Mediation

Before pursuing legal action, parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation if direct negotiation fails.

12. Website Terms

12.1 Website Use

Our website resecdisgu.media is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate service requests. You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to gain unauthorized access.

12.2 Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
